Northern Lights after Sunset
This composition is taken from Elgsnes on the north-western tip of Hinnøy, on a beautiful autumn evening. After weeks of constant daylight the sun is getting lower and lower in the sky as we move towards a new period of darkness. If you're lucky the Northern lights may just make an appearance. Nona Through the Mist
Nona is the highest mountain on the island of Grytøy, not too far from Harstad in northern Norway. Even in midsummer the cold sea mists can come rolling in, sending temperatures plummeting. This particular photo was taken in June which is one of the months when the sun does not set, here in the North.
Misty Rocks on a Cloudy Evening
The view from Norway's most romantic place - Nupen in Kvæfjord, just on the border of the larger municipality og Harstad. This is a popular place to come to to view the midnight-sun. As a landscape photographer the possibilities seem endless. Check out my photography blog for more information.
